Paint & Picnic - Village Green Mapua

Artvine Paint & Picnic events are our latest exciting venture as part of our "Art in the Park" throughout New Zealand, fun get togethers for people that want to try painting, meet new people, catch up with friends in a casual environment in beautiful places.  

This 2 hour event is set on the Village Green on the Mapua Wharf (directly in front of the Golden Bear Brewing Company) an ideal spot to park up a picnic blanket or chair and paint.  Remember to wear some sunblock, a hat and you can bring a picnic or you can order delicious take aways from any of the nearby restaurants.  We stop for breaks, pop to The Golden Bear so you can sit back and admire your painting while enjoying a wine or craft beer and we stop for a bite to eat. (The Village Green is an alcohol free zone so please do not BYO).  

We provide everything you need for your art experience, pre-drawn canvases, paint, brushes, aprons & water cups for washing brushes.  A great way to do something fun in the great outdoors, enjoy the local scenery and then stay on for the band at 4pm - 7pm. 

We will know at least 24 hours prior if the weather isn't looking ideal, we will let you know if we will be rescheduling to another date or if we will move the event to a local venue.
